THE GREATEST TACOS I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!! if you want true authentic Mexican food you don't want to miss this place. I am not a fan of any Mexican restaurants within 50 miles of Arcola but this place is about as close as real Mexican food there is around here. Stop by cause you will not regret it!

I want to leave a 5 star review, because when I found this place I loved it. Tacos are amazing, the green sauce is even better. But the last time we went my wife used the bathroom and there were cockroaches all over. Now she won't go back.

Fantastic home-cooked Mexican food in a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Nice owners. Best known for their soft shell carnitas tacos. Nothing fancy, but everything on the small menu is tasty. Only a few tables inside, so El Taco Tako is strictly take out. Can be a long line on weekends, so you might want to phone in and order ahead. No beer or wine, only pop. A taco truck without the truck.

This is where people go to cheat on their normal boring day in day out tacos. Those tacos we get married to because they're on the menu and "well I need to eat something." This is the taco you can't wait to see again when you get some free time. Some me time. Best Mexican food I ever had

The real deal. They have several sauces, all of which are vey good. The enchiladas were tasty and so were the tacos. Be forewarned they have limited seating. 10 would be a full house but most just get their food to go.

Always excellent food - particularly the al pastor - for years. Most authentic Mexican restaurant that I've found in our area. Try it. You won't be disappointed. Do remember they don't take credit or debit cards - check or cash only! Yummy!

Cheap. So cheap. Tasty too. It's a real small place, so groups larger than 4-5 people are gonna have a bad time sitting together.

The absolute best Tacos around completely authentic, extremely good and a good price.Get the green sauce. Not really a sit down, mostly carry out. Do yourself a favor and get the 5 taco special. Never trust anyone that gives this gem less than 5 stars!
